What is Marketing?
Marketing is an activity, we use for communicating, delivering, and exchanging offers with customers, clients, and partners that value them. When, we look back to human history, in every era, people do marketing to reach out to their potential clients. The goal of marketing is sales. Sales are totally different from marketing. Marketing is not sales but marketing can increase sales. Sales and marketing are two different things. Marketing is awareness about something else. And the sale is the by-product of marketing. In the old times, people do local marketing to promote their brands but now it is the age of digital marketing. So we originated two types of marketing
1. Local Marketing
2. Digital Marketing
What is Local Marketing? Introduction
Local marketing is like billboards, panaflexes. Brochers etc. Another good example of local marketing is when you are passing from a shop, you see a person is calling you into the shop or telling you about the hot offer or about new products. He is convincing you to go into the shop and make a purchase, he is doing local marketing but now e-commerce is taking over the local market so it is the era of digital marketing.
What is Digital Marketing? Introduction
In simple words Marketing something else (product or services) through digital means like Facebook, Instagram, Google, etc is Digital marketing. In digital marketing, we use social media and other online platforms to deliver our message to customers or clients. We use two processes for this
1. Paid marketing
2. Organic marketing
